Butterflies at Cooper Mountain

One final post about Cooper Mountain.
We saw many birds, butterflies, dragonflies and one rabbit.
Here are a couple of the butterflies we were able to get photos of.
We saw a Swallowtail too, but alas, no photo.

First, we have a Painted Lady enjoying thistle nectar.

Once I cropped the photo I could see it was a little worse for wear,
with a few damaged spots on it's wing.


Below, we have a Fritillary. I am not confident enough to say which one.

Great pictures. I've gotten a bunch of pics of that last one too, but didn't know what it was called.
